Recently, we have launched a new interesting and perspective category of Bookmarks. We hope that the
Colnect Bookmark catalog becomes a home for many beautiful collections from around the globe.
The
discussion on creating the bookmarks category was initiated in 2011. Then, in 2014 we found a dedicated coordinator for the category -
Pelacanyes. Thank you, Andreu, for your enthusiasm and energy which powered on the category and pushed it forward to the day of the public appear. The help of all contributors who help to expand the category from the very beginning is very much appreciated.
For now, the category includes just a bit more 1000 bookmarks, but we believe that the number of both items and collectors will grow exponentially. For now, there are bookmarks from
25 countries in the catalog, but we hope that very soon many more countries will be represented there. We welcome all bookmark collectors to join us and show their collections to the whole world:)!
You can view bookmarks organized by
countries,
arrangements,
shapes,
materials,
publishers,
artists,
years,
themes, and
newly added. You can easily navigate the catalog and sort the bookmarks by them to find the relevant ones.
Explore a new Bookmarks catalog and you can find a lot of interesting! Did you know that there is a kind of bookmark series, it's called
puzzle arrangement, that's supposed pictures on the each bookmark to be a part of a bigger picture. You would need to collect all the parts of the puzzle and arrange them in the right way to see that bigger picture.
Colnect has been built by collectors for collectors and any help is much appreciated. Would YOU like to join as a contributor to the Bookmark catalog as well? If you've never contributed information to Colnect before, please read our
Catalog Contribution Guidelines.
